Since community is the Sidecar product, it carries with it an added importance. Maria outlined all the ways that the community contributes value to the business:

  • One Vision: This puts faith in the drivers (community members) to be entrepreneurial. This entrepreneurial edge helps Sidecar to be very lean and, consequently, more agile.
  • Communication: The community allows drivers to stay current, which boosts morale.
  • Driver Motivation: The community helps with feelings of isolation.
  • Happy Drivers=Happy Riders: This spells increased profits.
